Her Secret

The stars bind them together and the infinite space was their playground, they let their naïve heart wander and ignored the outside world. It was just the two of them, surrounded by the love in their hearts, nothing was limited, nothing was restricted. If you can just get one glimpse of half of the love in their hearts, it was enough to supply the rest of the world and more. Dreamless nights they spent telling stories that only they could understand”surreal. Was it real then?
She suddenly felt so secure, so safe around him. He knew her deep beyond those eyes, he knew her to the depth of her soul. She opened up to him, told him her darkest secret and of her battle with sanity, her desire to be mundane.
He bid her goodnight and gave her a kiss; she slept peacefully comforted that she had unleashed the monster in her. One last thought before she slept; him and her forever till the end.
She woke up the next morning, only to see wrinkled bed sheets and a hint of his scent. He had left her, alone, isolated”misinformed. Her tears are bloody and she clings on to his bed sheet to feel his presence, she left the world and wandered in the star by herself and the allusion of him.
