"PETS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF LIFE"
I am sure it will come as a great comfort to pet-owners to know that
their pets survive earthly death, just as we do, and move into life in
Spirit.
I had heard many mediums pass on information on pets - from cats, dogs,
and budgies to exotic creatures such as snakes and parrots - but it was
not until March 1995, when our cat Fluffy died that I was privileged to
make contact with spirit animals. We had taken her to the vet to be put
to sleep, and my mother-in-law, May, who was regularly in contact with
me from the Spirit World, told me she had taken Fluffy over, and she
went in with her tail high.
A few days later, May and Fluffy appeared in front of me, and I was
dumbfounded when Fluffy looked at me and said - yes said! - in a soft
feminine voice "Try and stop me getting up now!" I had always tried to
deter her from jumping on to my wife's knee and padding on her legs,
plucking her clothes. Having said this, Fluffy just jumped on to my
wife's knee, and started padding about.
I must admit that the thought of an animal speaking in a human voice
was disconcerting, and I was quite upset by it. People have enough
trouble believing that family and friends who have passed over can
actually speak to you, without trying to convey an animal's
words!
From that time on, Fluffy has appeared often in our home and garden,
but has only spoken to me occasionally. Usually, as all cats do, she
stretches out in front of the fire or under the shade of a tree,
depending where she is. Although my wife cannot see Spirit, she knows
when she is in our living room as the leaves on the plant at ground
level move as Fluffy brushes against them. My wife has also seen the
curtains move, and I was able to tell her it was Fluffy chasing a fly.
This brings thoughts of how the 'matter' of spirit can impinge on our
earth plane.
Also in 1995, my sister-in-law's pet dog (Basil) had passed away, and
May brought him along one night saying he was well, and with her. On
another occasion, soon after a headstone had been erected on his grave
in my sister-in-law's garden, Basil spoke to me in a normal man's voice
"Thanks for the headstone. I'm glad she's got a bitch (Meg) because she
can't cock her leg up on it. Tell Mrs. Sylvia thanks for taking me in.
I could never show my gratitude but I will never forget her". (Sylvia
had taken Basil in as a stray, and, following his death, had obtained a
bitch as a pet.)
On more than one occasion, when Sylvia and my wife were talking
together, Basil has appeared alongside Sylvia and Fluffy with my wife,
although Fluffy was wary of Basil and kept her eyes on him.
When Sylvia's bitch passed away, I saw a lovely picture of Basil
trotting alongside Meg, leading her to the Other Side, where May met
them and patted Meg's head. May has told me she often takes Basil for a
walk, but Meg has decided to reincarnate, and Sylvia has been told to
watch out for an unusually-coloured squirrel. Apparently animals can
only reincarnate as animals, but a human can take on an animal
life-form for earthly experiences, but can later reincarnate as a
human. I have been led to believe that Fluffy was a human who had come
to earth to try life as a cat.
At the end of November 1999, I was surprised when Fluffy came through
and said she had been working around an earthquake site, leading dogs
to the victims who were trapped.
This indicated that animals work on the Other Side, just like people
who have passed over, and also seems to confirm the general opinion
that animals on the earth plane are much more psychic than we are.
They, of course, can't be brainwashed by the media into believing life
is not eternal. Fluffy lay on her side in front of the fire saying "My
paws are cut to ribbons, but I won't get any blood on the carpet", and
I felt she had come home to rest.
Other animals have appeared to me, like my grandson's pet dog, Jub, and
one of our former cats, Jinx, as well as other cats, dogs and budgies
wishing to be remembered to people I am in touch with.
I hope these words will bring comfort to pet-owners who are grieving at
the loss of a pet, or will be remembered in the future when the time
comes for you to experience this. You and your pets will move on to a
life in spirit, and will be reunited there. Until you are, be aware
that they may be around you if you hear scuffs, barkings, or see a
plant move without any reasonable cause. They are trying to still be
your companion despite their passing - they are just a thought
away!
