Thoughts and Prayers

"Thoughts and Prayers"
There has been much said and written by people who are not spiritually
minded about positive and negative thoughts, so I wasn't really
surprised when Spirit told me about the power of thought and how one
should always try to send out into the ether and towards other people
only good thoughts.
May, my guide, has always said "I'm just a thought away" and has been
through on many occasions to thank people for their thoughts for her on
her birthday, Mothering Sunday, Christmas and the anniversary of her
passing. She has also told me "You don't have to tell me, I know what
you are thinking" and even warned "Don't forget - I know your innermost
mind".
May once told me "Haven't you realised yet anything is possible within
your thoughts? You can have anything you want - just think. It is the
power of thought - I can be here, here or here!" As she spoke, her
position in our living room changed instantly. Then she said "Or we can
be here, here or here!" and I found myself alongside her in 3 different
houses I had known in the past.
May had warned me "Don't let your naughty thoughts be too powerful". At
one point, when someone was ridiculing healing, I did think how he
would feel if he was suffering the pain of the person receiving
healing. "Don't you dare!" May commanded. I felt gutted that I had
thought of such a thing, and even worse that I might possibly have
achieved it without May's interruption.
Healing thoughts are like prayers and all prayers can provide power to
help Spirit with their work. May explained "Prayers are never wasted.
While it might not be used for the person saying the prayer, it could
be used elsewhere as the time might not be right for that person's
prayer to be answered". I got the impression that some spirits collect
the prayers and healing energies which people send out and use them
where they will do most good. An example May gave was saying prayers
for the homeless, where the 'power' was used to give strength to people
working in the field to improve the lot of the homeless rather than
trying to alter the homeless person's way of life as everyone has
free-will and this cannot be ignored. Similarly prayers which would
affect or control somebody else create a problem.
One of the spirits who comes through to me is an aunt, who was a nun
for over 60 years, and obviously has undergone a change in thinking
since her time on earth. She once told me "Some nuns say prayers for
hours and hours without any feeling - just repetition. You must give
yourself to your prayers".
Another use for the 'power' generated by prayers is to help the people
who make the transition unaware of "The Other Side". They have to be
helped to understand that death is birth into that world and adjust to
the true meaning of 'eternal life'. Obviously then it is important to
say prayers for the souls of departed loved ones.
May always emphasises "Do not pray to ask - pray to say thanks" and
know that in one way or another your prayers will always be answered
but not necessarily in the way you want.
As I have prayed for peace and healing for the world, I have been
overwhelmed with scenes of the children in need - in Africa, then Asia,
and then those in institutions in Europe - as well as the animals in
the world needing help. I felt quite drained after this session, but so
very aware that there is nowhere near enough healing coming out for the
very very many who need it.
I was shown a scene of a huge 'stage' (for want of a better word)
supported by hundreds of thousands of 'aquaprops'. I was below 'stage'
in this area, which was quite low and gloomy, working alongside many
others, replacing 'aquaprops' as they started to bend, allowing the
'stage' to sink. Sometimes it came so low, you almost had to get down
on your knees to replace it. We were putting in thicker 'aquaprops' but
it was a never-ending scene, as you replaced one and two or three
others began to buckle. I also felt that as the 'stage' buckled,
something fell through off it, and were possibly people.
This scene represented the peace and health of the world, and the
cracks appearing in it. The thicker 'aquaprops' came from the prayers
of the world for its peace and healing, but you were forever looking
for these more robust type 'props', i.e. there were never enough
prayers!
May has also influenced me to send out thoughts and prayers for the
under-privileged. Once
she cut in to say "Thanks, very much. We need as many prayers for them
as we can. There are so many, and such a lot in the Third World which
are regarded as you might regard an ant - to be stepped on or crushed -
particularly little girls. There is not a lot to be done to stop it,
but prayers are used to help the spirit when released. The children
themselves know nothing but total unhappiness but don't feel too bad
because they don't know anything different - not yet. There is never
enough thoughts or prayers and there never ever can be". She reminded
me that in her work on The Other Side she does have a special interest
in these children.
One day as I finished a prayer, I heard a marvellous soft yet powerful
voice ask me "Why do you pray?" I took this to refer to the little
prayer I had just made but the voice asked "At the end of your prayer
you finished, so what is prayer?" I asked "Is it communication?" and I
got the answer "Well, shouldn't communication be two way? You can use
your other senses as well - of hearing and listening - and give
yourself time in the prayer to listen".
I saw a vision then of people saying "Amen" and then jumping off their
seats and going off to other things. I was informed "You won't hear
something all the time but occasionally you will and it could be a
direct answer or like 'Hello, Ray, how are you today?'" I felt that one
should give a few little pauses when praying to just listening.
I do hope that readers will try to remember to think only good and
positive thoughts and to send out a prayer to your God or Universal
Power whenever you have the opportunity to bring healing and peace to
our earth plane and to help the under-privileged.
