We awakened this morning
sure that we would go on forever.
We awakened this morning
sure that our loved ones would be there for us.

We were wrong......

Life's curtain

Nothing is for certain.
Nothing is for sure.
Pull aside lifes curtain
And see just who you were

Bold and full of life to share
Loving, careless in our quest.
Wanting all but not to dare
to give it up at Her bequest.

This life I live is mine today
I’ll cherish it till time says “when”
Then freely give it all away
To die and be reborn again.
