Tomorrow

The twinkling of starlight signals the end of the day.
Searching for a cold spot on the pillow, to help sleep on its way.
Tomorrows page is blank, a mural to be drawn
All you're thoughts begin to haze as you stifle another yawn
Today’s tomorrows yesterday
Dreams in daylight fade away
You’re living in dreams you could be living the dream
Things are never as bad as they seem, don’t scream
You’ve plans made for the future but not the here and now
Today is yesterdays tomorrow you need to act, but how
You don’t know what your doing and can’t tell what dreams mean
You’re waiting for tomorrow because you don’t fit in the scene
Seen friends with all the answers, on the tv anyway
Every ones got good advice, for tomorrow not today
You’ll wait and wish forever through all your work and play
You’ll never see tomorrow because you only ever live today
