Missing

Having not brought you home today,
I regret I have no words to say,
except I am sorry.

Having not brought you home this week,
a search party will be sent to seek,
and I am still sorry.

Having not brought you home this year,
I have learnt to finally shed a tear,
accepting you may be gone.

Having no brought you home at all,
I have come across a final wall,
there is no more I can do for you,
