[Continuing the hymn-for-Sundays series]

 – what she heard from the shepherds

Mary treasured and pondered their words in her heart
– will you pause and be willing to listen, and start
to properly think now about what you hear
 – for it may bring you gain, and there’s nothing to fear.

For surely it’s lacking in giving much thought,
that’s leaving so many in gloom, confused, caught
in capricious and foolish  unfounded beliefs
complacent, false comforts that fail, bringing griefs.

O please don’t forget, put it off, and neglect,
you ought to consider before you reject
to hear what God’s scripture words actually say
– you may see there's light that can show you your way!

*Luke 2:19

Excellent work. Had a look at your http://rhiannonshymns.co.uk website again -- very impressive. I didn't see if there were audio recordings? A terrific amount of work there.

Thank you, Nolan. I've been slower keeping up with the blog/website since posting on here, but update it from time to time. I know the Index needs work. I have recorded some to soundcloud in the past, but very little. Just suggest tunes when I can. I've found using a blog a help to doing some catagorization of hymns into subject areas.

I hope you've had some relaxation and stimulation over the holiday time. Rhiannon
