The reason why

What thing amazing, what is this?
The supernatural, only Source
of all, Creator of mankind —
this God, upon a cross we find!

A human being, just like us,
though his life never was a mess.
He still was God and he could show
what God is like – and now we know!

Why did he die? for you and me
to be God’s friends, and start to be
the kind of ones who please him, pray,
– for he’s alive again today!
