But Hell is Hotter

Welcome to the darkness. Flames dancing around the ceiling creating
an aura of enticement. Death can be tasted here. Don't worry. You'll
learn, like everyone else&;#8230;Eventually.
Watching the less-than-perfect, stumble and fall&;#8230;fall
down&;#8230;Down to me. All will visit here, sooner or later. People
from all walks of life. Hell does not discriminate between rich and
poor&;#8230;Tall or short&;#8230;Fat or thin. We'll take anyone!
Even the high and mighty, who preach about all that 'salvation'
garbage, will end up in this haven of the macabre. That's it and there
is no more!
"Augh!"
Well, well&;#8230;Here comes another one. Starting to drop like
flies.
"Hello Jimmy. We've been waiting for you." The voice was thick like a
thunderous storm and deep like a tar pit. It carried with it a hate for
all that is good&;#8230;All that is right.
"Poor little Jimmy. Bet you thought there wouldn't be any reward for
your pathetic lecherous soul. Right?" Wait 'til he sees the wonderfully
dreadful things we have in store for him.
Jimmy was one of those scummy lowlifes that you'd find on the street
corner&;#8230;A bag in one hand and a joint in the other. He had
been married once. Had two girls somewhere&;#8230;A son somewhere
else. He couldn't remember&;#8230;Didn't care. With his raggedy
dirty-blonde hair and his haggard look, he was always in trouble with
some part of the law.
All he cared about now was getting his butt out of whatever bar he had
stumbled into. This place reeked of something so foul, that it turned
even his stomach!
"Well? I'm not waiting all day! Are you ready to receive your rewards?"
Sniveling idiot wanders in thought. Probably the most thinking he's
done in all of his wretched 35 years!
Jimmy tried to figure out where that damned voice was coming from, but
he didn't see anyone. Might just be the hangover talking, he thought.
Maybe if I lay down it'll go away&;#8230;Yeah, just lay down. With
that, he plopped himself down onto the dank and stony
floor&;#8230;Not caring what he was lying in.
"Get up you fool!" Why must they all be stupid! Doesn't matter how they
live, they always end up dumber than dirt by the time they get down
here!
Long bony fingers reached down and picked Jimmy up by his hair. One
hand was close to the size of Jimmy's whole body. With a jerk that
almost gave the fool whiplash, Jimmy's feet were dangling in the
air.
"What the&;#8230;" Jimmy looked up into the blackest eyes he'd ever
seen! Even on the worse binge, he'd never conjured up anything like
this. Damn! Must've had more to drink than I thought.
"Okay boy. I don't feel like playing a lot of stupid 'am I drunk'
games. Listen! I have a ton of garbage to process and I am not going to
spend any more time on you than I have to! Do you hear me?!" He spat
the words out as he talked&;#8230;Drowning the parasitic man in a
stench of fluid.
With a jolt, Jimmy was stone cold sober. For the first time in decades,
he was completely alert. With this newfound feeling, came an uneasy
twinge of horror. Yes, he could feel now&;#8230;But he wished to God
that he could be numb again.
"For all the sinful years of service to me&;#8230;The daily beatings
of that woman of yours, murdering a few ignorant children, wasting your
worthless life in a stupor drugs and alcohol&;#8230;I, the great and
powerful of the underworld, give you a fairly quick and satisfying end.
Quick for you and satisfying for me!" With that, the useless being was
thrown into the middle of a blazing medley of flames and ebony
shadows.
The screams seemed to go on forever. "Can't put two words together when
they're alive and can never shut-up when they're dead!" Gotta' love the
degenerates of this world! Heehee! Off to the next pus bag.
In the corner was a lump of a man, overcast by the shadow of the
approaching demon. He was scared. Scared straight, some might say. He
had never believed in a god of any sort. Now he wished he had someone,
anyone to pray to.
The hair would've stood up on the back of his neck if he hadn't been
completely bald. Carl had never been so afraid of the darkness
before&;#8230;So afraid of what he couldn't see.
"Get up! Let's get this over with." With a swift kick, Carl went flying
across the room. He landed in a heap somewhere in the emptiness.
Why can't I wake up? He thought this was just another nightmare. He had
tried turning his life around&;#8230;Told his stepdaughter that he
was sorry for all that he'd done. What else was he supposed to
do?
"Nothing. You're supposed to do nothing. It's over! Done! You almost
screwed it up by apologizing! Why did you have to do that?! That really
pissed me off!" Why do they always get weak as they get older? "Damn
gasbag! You'll pay for going soft!"
"What do you want from me? I'll pay for whatever damage I've done to
your bar buddy. Just let me get my checkbook, aw'right?" Carl hoped
that he could 'pal' his way out of this mess. He knew one thing; this
was the last time that he let anyone feed him shots of tequila! That
was for damn sure! The last time!
"Ah, you owe me nothing. I want to pay you. Pay you for the services
you've done for me. Let's see&;#8230;Multiple acts of rape and
sodomy, a few busted jawbones, and a life that swam in booze. I have
just the thing for you!"
The hands came down quickly and grabbed onto Carl's arms. He only had a
second to scream before his body was torn completely in
half&;#8230;It looked as if a chainsaw had gone down his
middle.
With a flip of his wrist, the demon tossed the lifeless parts into the
great burning place. The shrieks of the soul lasted longer this
time&;#8230;Probably because this man had 51 years to screw up his
life.
What glorious sounds were coming from the ravenous blaze. "Don't worry.
More are coming my evil one. More are arriving every second. Hahaha!"
His bellows shook the entire underworld.
&;#8230;Meanwhile, on the other end of the Universe&;#8230;
Blinding light&;#8230;So pure, that one could barely look into it.
Beautiful songs were wafting along the clouds. A being with an awesome
presence enveloped the entire heavens, yet no one could see Him. He was
there though, watching as each of His children entered into His
kingdom.
There were no screams or sorrow here, only a serenity that never could
be duplicated on earth. Sin had made sure of that. Time has quickly
changed though. The earth had been divided. Those who had chosen to
live by His word, and those who had not. There was no in
between&;#8230;Even though many had believed there
was&;#8230;They knew better now though.
One presence, enshrouded in a white mist, stood at the entrance. He was
holding a large book of some sort. It looked as though it were crafted
out of the finest marble and embellished with the rarest of golds. Yet,
this figure held it in one hand. This was the place where nothing was
impossible.
Melony stood on a cloud-lined walkway. She knew immediately where she
was and marveled at the fact that the Lord had chosen her to join His
loving nation. Although she had strayed from God many times, she had
never forgotten Him and always asked for forgiveness. She knew that
there were only two places to go&;#8230;Up or the other place. She
dared not even think of what would've happened if she hadn't been
saved.
"Ah, my dear child. Come forth. Let me check in the 'Book of Life' and
see what thou hast done for our blessed Saviour." Saint Peter carefully
opened the crushed pearl pages of the book. It parted perfectly to what
he was looking for.
"Melony&;#8230;right here. You've been a wonderful servant to the
Lord. Helping those in need, feeding the hungry, and devoting much of
your life to the Lord in prayer. You will be greatly rewarded. Jesus
offers to you eternal life in His garden of paradise. Bless you sweet
one. You may enter." With that, the young woman entered into the
kingdom. All the while smiling and singing praises to the Lord in her
heart.
She almost lost her breath when she saw the splendor on the other side
of the gates. Gorgeous fields in bloom with lustrous flowers. There
were animals of every kind, lying with each other as if it were natural
to do so. Melony dropped to her knees and thanked the Lord for allowing
her to be included in His magnificence. "Praise the Lord", she sang.
Never once did she wonder what had happened to her father, Carl.
Someone else arrived at the gate. Again Saint Peter turned open the
book to the page he needed. He looked down upon a very young child.
"Hello my precious one. Art thou ready to meet thy Saviour?"
Kyrie couldn't say much. She had been chosen at a very young age. One
quick punch to mommy's tummy and 'poof', she was brought up here. "I
love Jesus", she said. Kyrie remembered that her mommy had spoken those
words many times. Even though Kyrie had been in the womb, she heard her
mother's voice as clear as a bell.
"I couldn't have said it any better", replied Saint Peter. "Thou hast a
guaranteed reservation. Our forgiving Lord does not punish the children
of sinners. Don't worry&;#8230;Mommy will be here soon." With that,
he waved for Kyrie to enter. She totally forgot about her 'bad daddy
Jimmy'. That's the way God allows it. He lets you forget about all the
bad things and only the good memories remain.
Kyrie ran in through the gates. She immediately sat under a lush
dogwood tree, pulled a tiny lamb into her lap and started to sing the
song that mommy used to sing. "Jesus love me this I know", her mommy
sang that often to her.
Melony had seen Kyrie enter and, even though she had never seen this
child before, she knew exactly who this little angel was. "Hello
Kyrie". Melony sat down and cradled Kyrie and the lamb. "Let's wait for
mommy together, okay?"
"Okay Aunt Melony." Kyrie knew that she was going to be very happy
here. It was so beautiful. She had missed hearing her aunt's
voice&;#8230;When Kyrie was still a tiny thing; Melony would spend
time singing and telling stories to mommy's belly. Yes, everything was
going to be fine now.
