The End?

We all loved nursery rhymes
At one time or another,
But have you ever stopped and wondered
What happened to them after the short poem?
Well, Jack Sprat had a heart attack
From eating a gallon of Rocky Road
The NYPD busted Mary, Mary Quite Contrary
For growing&;#8230; more potent plants than silver bells in her
garden.
Little Boy Blue now works at McDonalds-
His boss fired him on the spot when he slept behind that
haystack.
Little Bo Peep was slapped with a negligence suit
When her sheep-gone-bad broke into Mother Goose's house.
Old Mother Hubbard still has nothing in her cupboard
Due to lack of universal health care, she's still broke.
The Cat and the Fiddle broke up for solo careers-
Cat plays Vegas while the Fiddle got into the Dave Mathews Band.
Jack and Jill got married, then divorced, then married again,
But Jill now is having an affair with Georgie Porgie.
The Dish and the Spoon ran off to Hawaii-
It's the only state that recognizes their marriage as legal.
The Rock-a-bye baby was dead on impact-
He fell out of a tree in a wooden cradle!
The maid got plastic surgery and has her nose back-
After, of course, she sued the king for improper bird
extermination.
Four teenage punks were sent to jail after Little Miss Muffet
fainted
From seeing a plastic spider on her tuffet.
And, really, to think,
We thought these nursery rhymes were so innocent.
