I tried to capture the feeling you give me in a symphony.
It didn't work.
I twisted notes around staffs,
Mixed emotions and E chords

Sporadic heartbeats in some out-of-beat tune-
Hands could never dream of drumming so surreally
Yet, I became frustrated soon as I realized
No one (especially not me)
Can mix an indescribable emotion into a score.
It's impossible to take a heartbeat melody
And lay a euphoric harmony over.

But I did try, darling, to capture that feeling last night.
That's more than most people have done for you.
