Torture

Renee set down the shiv with blood running down the blade, polluting the handle. She stares at Hermit, who is struggling to stay against the wall. Her stare alone sends chills down his spine. The more he is frightened, the more Renee's devious smile grows. She can see the fear spilling out of his eyes down to his goose-bumped skin.
"I think its time to stop using these pitiful toys the executioner places so much of his pride in." Renee says with a slight smirk.
All that the Hermit could muster was a terror filled groan that echoed the halls beneath the Grand Temple. Renee rests two fingers on his lowest ribs and screams ruthlessly, "Where is that wretched kid?"
"Please, I have only talked to him but one time. I do not know where he now resides!"
Renee thrusts her fingers, morphing his frail rib into a toy for her hounds. The Hermit aches in pain and hears his own howl echo, once again, throughout the dungeon.
"As much as I enjoy toying around with you, time dwindles down like the fire you blankly stare at. Answer my questions honestly and future suffering may be avoided." Renee laughs, making no effort to conceal the power and vengeance staggered in her voice.
The Hermit sits still silently for what seems like ages to him, the same feeling of watching a clock for an entire minute. It felt like two full lifetimes in a single moment? He eventually gathers the strength to whisper, "Where have you hidden your wicked soul?."
"Don't test me you pathetic old man." Renee growls at him, cracking another rib.
"You have no honor."
Renee thrusts again, cracking two more ribs with her devastating hand.
"You are pathetic."
Driven by the Hermit's foul words, she palms her hand to his sternum and pushes, relentlessly. The sound of his ribs cracking under the pressure hurt more than his shocked body could handle.
Silenced by the pain, the Hermit seemed to be finally silenced from the last blow.
Renee laughs at his silence, "Pitiful old man, maybe I was a little too hard on him. I hope Cardinal Crayne won't be too angry," she says with a sarcasm.
After a short while of Renee staring at his what seems to be lifeless corpse, the Hermit wiggles slightly.
"Come close," he whispers with agony as Renee puts her head near his, only to humor his dying wish, "Soulless bitch," the Hermit whispers as he spits in her face with his final words, painting her face red.
Crazed by anger, Renee picks the Hermit up by his neck, throws him across the room to feed the fire. The smell of his burning corpse brought a smell of corruption to her senses.
"I will find you Tony," she says with a raspy voice, loathing his evasion.
