CARNIVAL NOTTING HILL
Summertime it's here again, the carnival has arrived,
Notting Hill celebrates yearly, with their big surprise.
Everyone is involved, to enchant us with all this splendour,
August Bank Holiday starts this array, for us to remember.
Decorated floats, steeldrum bands pass before your eyes,
There are costumes of many different colours, shapes and size.
All the people have combined, to entertain and display,
Their hearts and minds are set, to perform for the coming days.
Dancing girls are parading, In their most elegant attire,
The sun is not hot; it's these girls make the men perspire.
Foods of every nation are prepared there, for you to taste,
Relish in this feast at your leisure, for there is no haste.
Congratulations are in order, so shake them by the hand,
Organisers are satisfied; it went just as they had planned.
Now filled with new energy, they must be on their way,
Everyone has enjoyed themselves, over these last three days.
