" SILHOUETTES AND SHADOWS "
Life's Journey
When you are born, there are no care and woes,
For you are protected by parents from all foes,
Loved and cherished as the days go by,
Tenderly caressed and cared, when you cry.
Teenager time you are always at your best,
Out to prove that you can stand with the rest,
You meet someone with that certain smile,
Leave their phone number you constantly dial,
The day is chosen for that special day,
Blessing are given to help you on your way,
Married life has troubles and also bliss,
Many problems are solved with a loving kiss.
Children arrive and they are fondly blessed,
Soon they grow out of their suits and dress,
And the time comes when you are glad,
For you are now known has nanny or granddad.
Spring, summer and autumn of life, are in the past,
End of winter is just a few weeks away. We will last.
The strength in your body, is almost at its end,
Into another life soon, it's just around the bend.
Your partner has passed away. Gone are the years,
And those sweet memories, bring back the tears,
But at last, this final breath you take,
You are now at rest, no longer brain and body ache.
