WEDDING BLISS
When two people meet in the summer of their lives,
Just by chance they smile, stare into each other's eyes,
Romance is around, sweet blossoms fill the air,
They hold each other with affection; they do not care.
The magic of being in love shows in their dreamy ways,
Now we know it's getting serious, we all had those days,
A special date for the big occasion has now been set,
Family rally around, thinking of things they must not forget.
Caterers have been contacted, to lay on this special meal,
For they know that all the guests, must enjoy this fill,
Wedding dress has now been selected, for this special day,
Mums have chosen wedding suits, carefully put away.
Invitation sent to family, friends and dear neighbours,
Wedding rings now chosen, best man will have to labour,
Guest receive wedding list, for gifts that are preferred,
Groom hears the married downfalls, but is still unperturbed.
The lads laid on a party, for the boy they say is doomed,
He is here to enjoy himself, for tomorrow he will be a groom,
All the girls have done the same, for their beloved friend,
They even booked a pub, where they have those sexy men.
Finally the time arrives, for dad to give his daughter away,
As they walk down the isle, here comes the bride is played,
Bride and Groom gave solemn vows, to love cherish and care,
Wishes are given; tears are plentiful, for this loving pair.
