The villagers were gathering, discussing something. “We need to do something about those vampires. They are bugging all of us. I cannot stand all of it anymore. I suggest we hire vampire hunters to hunt them down and kill them”, said one of the villagers. All of the other villagers agreed with the man’s opinion. The villagers started to hire vampire hunters to do the job. The vampire hunters were pretty high-tech, carrying holy swords, guns and any weapon that they could carry with them. The villagers paid a lot of money to hire them. They want the vampires dead, not just dead, but also vanished from the world.
On that night, the hunters started their journey to a place, claimed by the villagers to be where the vampires might be living. Along the way, they were always on the lookout for anything suspicious. As they were moving towards the village, a vampire had watched their entire movement. The vampire was the queen of the vampire village, Sawachika Saki. She had already sensed the hunters coming to her village, and ordered an ambush to stop the hunters from reaching the vampire village.
Sawachika gave the order to attack the hunters. Surprised, the hunters fought back ferociously. Eventhough they were outnumbered, they still fought hard, until the last drop of their blood. Both the hunters and vampires suffered heavy casualties. Many bodies lay dead on the hill where the fight happened. Still, the fight between the hunters and the vampires intensified as the vampires were coming non-stop towards the hunters. The hunters were not giving up so easily and still fought the vampires, showing unshakeable bravery. But, the hunters lost the battle. All of this action was from Sawachika. She ordered the village must be protected by any cost.
At the end, the number of casualties and injuries are; 201 dead, 112 injured. A huge price to pay to defend the vampire village. Sawachika knew she ordered them to protect the village, which means sending them to their deaths. But, they continue on with their queen, Sawachika and won the battle. Some of them lost their lives that day. But, she knows that they died proudly, protecting their pride and their village, but the most rewarding fact was that they fought alongside their queen. As a remembrance of the tragedy, a monument was erected at the hill where the fight happened. On it, the names of all the vampires that sacrificed their lives that fateful day and believe it or not, Sawachika decided to show her honour towards the hunters by placing their names on the monument as well. Now, 3 years after the incident, standing in front of the monument, touched it and whispered something. “I hope all of you are resting in peace now”. She then left the hill, with a hope, that such incident will never happen again. The name was named after the battle, The Hill Of The Bloody Scarlet.
