I was a YTS matador

as a job you couldn't ask for more

the perks were good but the pay was poor

I spent all me wages on a draw

cos I was the pothead matador

Plucked from obscurity

I was after security

of the job variety

two shows nightly

the blood was unsightly

I had to smile brightly

Until

that treacherous day

the 7th of may

I'd only had one 'J"

and BOOM on the floor I lay

billy the bull had had his way

Now I'm a matador no more
