Through the Haze

Peering through the haze,
lights that amaze me,
stars gaze right back
saying you lack focus
to crack the fear
as faults appear slowly
to near term vision,
and deliberate omissions cause
surgical incisions in hearts
shaped in part by
the art of poetry.
