You're afraid of yourself, you always have, you always will. Nothing can make up for what you have done in the past. Dying doesn't scare you, you welcome its familiar touch. What frightens you the most, is becoming the monster you once were, the monster that you fight to control every waking moment of your life. Every time your eyes are closed you see him. You fear him. You are him.

Interesting. Its like you're trying to say that your scared of becoming who you were in the past again. The past still tries to haunt you but yet you try to run from the person you used to be. Nice. ! You should check out my poems as well.
