Fairies

Once I saw a fairy,
I watched it flutter by
It's radiant glow,
Lit up the darkened sky.

Once I saw a fairy,
Quite late at night
It swam around the garden:
A random little light.

Once I saw a fairy,
All weepy and sad
Another child didn't believe
And this made the fairy sad.

And when we saw this fairy,
Together we knew what to do,
We clapped til the fairy was happy again
And now fairies exist 'cause of you.
