Sorcery
Your whispered breath drowns my thoughts
As you words work to intoxicate me
And carry me into that oblivion of intensity
Where I have no defense against the magic
You effortlessly weave around me
The summer blackness kisses my skin
The night caresses and holds me
And the darkness and your touch
Enfold me as you teach divinity
And banish my fear of the dark.
Those enchantments you muttered and cast
Have captured and enchained my soul,
Kidnapped and ransomed my heart
For eternal ecstasy, a lifetime
Of lying here with you.
