Dark Skies

The dark sky fills my nites for way to long, I think of your loving
embrace while I am gone.
As the sun sets with its golden fade, the dark skies come, like a dark
and lonely shade.
I look to the north as the nites winter snow begins to fall, I run for
cover and miss your warmth and smile most of all.
I hear dark skies winters wind tremble like the timber wolfs call, it
seems time stands still on the dark skies and winters cold snow fall.
the trees crackle, whistle in the wind, my dark sky nite will still
begin.
I see the woodland creatures make a scurry of there own, I miss you
more and more and wondering how soon i can make it home.
The sunrise creeps along the mountain tops and the dark skies are once
again held at bay, the sunlite warms the land, like a gental giant
glowing hand to start a new day.
No more dark skies on the morning frost and winters dew, and in my
darkest skies, all I know is how much I truly love and miss you.
