Pieces Of You

Tread softly, with feet upon your path,
The journey inward moves one fast.
An exiled landscape for you awaits,
To find the strands that bind your fate
When questing pieces of you
You of two places, cannot be,
Not of the shore and the sea,
So seek now, your secret place,
Where sand and surf interlace
While confronting pieces of you
To the Old Ones, give your shade.
Hear them as they call your name.
Heart and ear must work as one
To hear their song as it is sung.
When tracing pieces of you
You, of twin ways stand incomplete,
When day and night, you seek to be.
In surrendering find the space,
Of dusk and dawns, resting-place.
To explore pieces of you
When seed is set, and called to grow,
They'll work the land, and claim the plow.
And weal their sword, on weeds that choke,
Gifting, tools to bear the yoke.
To harvest pieces of you
So when you're shattered by Fates hand,
And cast about like wind-blown sand.
You gather those shards, and then mold,
The core of you, which you hold
Shaping pieces of you
For the essence of you cannot be changed,
Only tempered and rearranged.
Now owning again your own true soul,
Made anew and standing whole.
Refining pieces of you
Seek the moon to be your guide,
For by his light, the path you'll find.
When chaos calls with darkness' sound,
You claim your place on Holy Ground.
Owning pieces of you
And follow the Stag, to dance the dance,
And see threefold, to understand.
For what is lost, there is found,
Once you discover Herns' sacred mound
Among pieces of you
Then Truth and Trust, will be renewed,
And Hope, will stem, from the two.
Those three threads, the triad tie,
So heart and soul, need never die,
Echoing pieces of you
