A Moment in Time

Winding paths with shadows scattered,
Woven baskets bursting flowers,
High close doorways still sleep shuttered,
Sunlight gems in dew drop clusters.
Meanwhile dreaming here youth stands,
Sleeves rolled up,pocketed hands.
It seems life's just awoken,
Stretched her arms and yawned anew,
Curled up and rubbed her eyes,
Sighed with hair all tangled through.
Each breath one takes longdrawn and thoughtful,
Each move the glide of painted silk,
And just this moment time's so kind,
My world could be an Eden's glimpse.
