I am there as you sleep
Listening eagerly to the secrets you keep
I am there as you open your eyes
watching you prepare for your day as another night dies
I am there throughout your day
Seeing the mistakes for which you will pay
I am there as you drown your frustrations in narcotic
And wash them down with booze or anyone nerotic
I am there feeding on your ups and downs
Laughing at you and your friends as you act like narsisitic
clowns
No matter how you try you can't get away
For I live inside of you each and every day
I am your heart, your soul so deep
I am there to hide any emmotions you keep
I am there to cause you pain
But know in the end that only I will keep you sane
