looking down
on that hill
looking down on
neon orange lights
aflame...
ablaze;
the town
a beacon...trees
hung with rain
sky – purple
as bruises
on the thin
skin of a child,
Lucy’s; she’s in the sky
with diamonds...
counting them each
and every one
because all’s
been said, and
the undoing’s
been done
a song
unwritten
a song
unsung because
Lucy’s in the sky
with diamonds
and she
still counts them
one
by one
by one...

Hi Tina
Hi Tina
What a beautiful poem and also the picture to go with. You can't beat the view of a night sky on a clear still night.
