my depending love

I sit and stare at you,
Smiling at times,
Other times laughing,
with you,
at you.
Your radiant light enhances my view.
Activating my senses,
Stiring emotions old and new.
As multicoloured images form within these eyes.
Other times I stare,
And you stare back.
No longer a light from you,
Just black.
No emotions stired,
Just plain and bare.
I wonder what I once saw there.
Without you though,
I would have no light.
Within my life and within my sight.
So in a way I depend on you,
We have dark times,
But see them through.
I love you dearly,
With no regret.
My old friend,
The T.V set.
