My Bible
Sometimes late at night
I grab my Bible, and turn on the light
I read about Jesus speaking in parables
I think it is marvelous
I read about his healing powers
I read for hours
I absorb all the spiritual I can
I read about Abraham, he was a great man
My Bible teaches me of Jesus, and his love
And, how he descended from above
I get lost in the New Testament
My Bible makes me feel content
I close my Bible, and I lay down to rest
I feel... 'blessed'
