BLAME.
sneak
Searching for significance.
Swallowing the pill.
A love conceived of madness.
Another cell to kill.
Wide-eyed and not so innocent.
Addicted to her tongue.
Happy smiley casualties -
of a right that tasted wrong.
Chemicals pursue you.
Rewired with a kiss.
Love declared the loser.
Narcotics take the piss.
So easily I falter.
Subtracting hope by one.
The long and winding motorway -
that you lay your head upon.
Hold me in your frailty,
one last disastrous time.
Ecstatically entwined -
in these hopeless limbs of mine.
Trade secluded glances -
as sirens wail for me.
Your face in desperation -
is all I need to see.
For all I ever wanted -
was a voice to cry my name.
A sign that I was someone,
before others took the blame.
