My instantly unhappy.
Smile your inverted frown.
I often wear your sadness.
My up will be your down.
Destined for social exclusion.
On the fringe of feeling so good.
While others most certainly wouldn't,
we most certainly would.
Lithium based saturation.
Soaked in our own disarray.
So many questions to answer,
yet still we have nothing to say.
And I could declare myself empty.
Void of emotional ties.
The thud of my own desperation -
reflected in suicide eyes.
Trapped in a rut of self-loathing.
Dulled like a stone to a blade.
Scars that mean nothing to no one.
We will repeat until fade.
Anger, our constant companion.
Sedated by sleep, we decay.
Love, the uncharted emotion.
We drift through the rage of the day.
