Subtle imperfections -
relay a numbing doubt.
Minor flaws embellished -
by a cast of jealousy.
Magnifying everything -
but her reality.
The bitterness of ugly.
The plain can only stare.
Destined to be pretty.
So stunning in despair.
Cutting off her nose -
to spite the human race.
Self inflicted smiles.
Branded in disgrace.
So deathly enigmatic.
So blatantly disturbed.
Screaming for rejection.
But no one ever heard.
