TEENAGE KICKED.
sneak
Head over heals through a car windscreen.
Ambitions charred by gasoline.
Go-faster stripes go nowhere fast.
The furry dice has just been cast.
A parents tears won't quench the flame.
High spirits soar to claim the blame.
They always have and always will.
Their boredom has the night to kill.
Nowhere to run, nowhere to ride.
High-pressure hoses aim to hide -
the fragile fate of eager youth,
as floral tributes mark their truth.
Enthusiasm coughs and stalls.
A congregation met with walls -
of disapproving sullen sighs.
Beyond the black horizon lies -
disgruntled youth driven too far.
A fight for life in mangled car.
A teenage kick that dented fate.
Their parents sit and wait and wait...
