Light a Match.

Have you ever watched a flame throughout its short life? Have you
ever watched a match being lit, observed it burning brightly, then, in
a puff of smoke the flame disappears and all you are left with is the
vision of the orange glow imprinted in your memory, and the grey wisps
entwining in front of your eyes? Have you ever thought that just as
easily, you could be watching someones life? Watching them being born,
watching them live their life, and enjoying with them their successes,
then just as quickly watch them fade away. Just like all the friend and
family of Kurt Cobain watched him light up, burn away and fizzle out,
all within what must have seemed like the blink of an eye.
Burning brightly at first.
Then comes that awful thirst.
GREED.
Down he falls with his last plead.
Into darkness as he bleeds.
