The Dawn and the Dusk (She is the Dawn)

She is the Dawn, she is my Dawn
A smile as radiant as the sun
Eyes of emblazoned colour reflect upon the first of eclips-ed rays
Her gaze, the first shafts of light upon my face
Such warmth, such depth within them, I see such passion there.
Twighlight lips that glisten in the mist,
coming out from the cold of the night .
Still heavy laden with a scented dew
honey nectar dripping from her presence.
Nature calls her onward, forth
welcomes her in all her splendour
The breeze still hangs upon her silken threads, as they drift off into endless sky
She stands, just so, head high and elegant
Like the very first rose reaching for its very first sun
Its perfume and beauty, caresses the air, encompasses all
Breaking the grasp of the frosts stirring cold.
I am warmed by her essence, her light pervades my shadows
For I am the dusk, growing old in my time
Born to the half light, a haze in the grey
My gaze, stolen glimpses of her vibrancy as she lingers across my skyline
Admired from a distance
I am haunted by her gracefulness
Away from her, I am broken hearted
As she fades, effervesces from my view
Left hanging on her now crimson glow
Resigned to a destiny........shall we never meet?
