Ive been stumbling along
In my life you see
Been alone for a long time
I guess lonely is me
All others around me
Keep rabbiting on
'Bout how nice I am
How'd I be the one
If they were not with a boyfriend
Or that the timing was wrong
But I don't really worry
Still, they do carry on
That I'm looking all washed up,
Ive been blown out to sea
Being tossed by the waves
When I shouldn't, you see
So its time I should date
Or its time that I stop
Being content by myself
And should meet someone's lot.
Well its not that I don't listen
And I don't disagree
With the rant of my friends,
For they mean well you see
And I know that their line
About fish in the sea
Rings very true
For I know there are plenty
But the one thing they miss
About these fish's and me
Is one thing alone...

...they don't have your beauty.
