The Night

The night is young,
but i see things in the sky.
What are they?
Who are they?

The stars are there,
illuminating the sky.
Glowing with a light,
which guides travellers in the night.

The moon is there,
silently shining down.
Glowing with a light,
which shows a path home at night.

Like a mother the moon is,
caring and kind.
Like siblings the stars are,
naughty but nice.

The night is young,
but i see things in the sky.
They are the moon and stars,
guiding me to my homeland.
