Crocodile Smiles
I for got to remember to forget to remember,
To tell you that I forgot what it was that I thought
That I liked about you, when I saw you, in my
Mind's eyes. Crocodile smiles, biting wit and
Open thighs.
And what do I get for my pain? What do you
Want? Just more of the same? Not star crossed
Lovers, Just wire crossed "friends". Open-ended
Questions with text book answers. An unreal study
Into the effects of alcohol.
The crocodile smiles again
And takes another chunk,
Of something never given
Willingly.
You should close your eyes, your mind to the external.
Start the imagining machine that works so well, too well.
Dispossessed and disillusioned in a paper castle.
You are opaque, with no reality, no reason, and no real,
No real to real in.
