do not desert me, Lord
be with me thru and thru
let me not be intoxicated with wine,
sing the songs of drunken sailors
lost in the mind of relationships,
hurt like a deer
hurt like a fool.

bend me lowly and make me whole
send me songs of newly minted days
when long and long i row
back to life.

do not kill me lord for such a long
lasting time
and make you a wish
for me to dine and dine
on spirit and soul
loving
being
breathing.

You've always been a constant support and sometimes I have no idea what I am saying. Sometimes I feel like the Post-Modern capitalist world is trying to destroy the human being and make us into THINGS obsessed with status, being, and nothingness. Critics of Post-Modernism are right in saying that it is simply disguised Existentialism with the exception of Derrida who presupposes a different future beyond the Nothingness, the Nirvana of the fact that Nothing New has happened since World War II.
