Sweet- with no preservatives.

She was so sweet- mellifluous in her speech, with a golden honey glow resonating from her cheeks, chocolate-coloured hair a gentle tangle of twirls which fell to her shoulders. Matilda's heart was a brilliant fire of warmth, reflected in her caramel eyes as well.
Mom recalled certain memories of her, such as-
"Mommy why are fruits so bitter? I thought they were supposed to taste sweeter than vegetables. Blegh."
"Devan I think candy likes you better than me, 'cause it's not giving me a good time here!"
The doctors said the part of her tongue to sense sweets was invalid, claiming it was probably due to a birth defect or an unhealthy food plan as a baby.
But, as a family who's been with this sunshine descendent for around nine years or so, we know it isn't a congenital defect.
She's just...sweeter than a strawberry. Literally.
