NEXT GENERATION

blue skys white clouds brisk winds green grass
ducks mating playing
trees swaying flowers blooming
what a beautiful sight for sore eyes
nautre at it's best
but if you look closely
you see no fish movements in the pond
water is dark and murky
birds in large groups chirping all in one area
not even food brings them close to the water
people locked in their homes
a strange presents what is it
news on possiable terrorist attacks
over the memorial day weekend
a feeling of doom hangs over us like a night mare
waiting waiting fear in some peoples eyes
anger in others
could this be happening again
do we dare to look as for fear of seeing another attack
god help us all
when will this hatered for each other end
stop stop it now
don't judge me for the color of my skin
or my reliegous beliefs
who has what
and who has not
what will we leave for the next generation
barren lands
hunger
pitty to have to think of these things
but it's reality
for the world as we knew it is gone
lets not destroy the rest
leave the green grass blue skys and
white clouds clear water
animals at play trees
and flowers
for the next generation
