Butterfly

Don't know how
A butterfly lay dead on my yard.
Brilliant were its wings.
But little did ants know of beauty.
They were in hundreds
Ardently busy in a beeline
Collecting food.
Ah, I thought, there's no museum here
Where the butterfly could have been displayed
Pleasing the eyes of viewers all.
And, that's how countless butterflies
Are perished
Providing food for ants.
