Grandparents

Saw a picture today

of my grandparents

hiding in the pages of 

a old dusty
book

I found

looking so in love

holding hands and
smiling away

what a great pictures I
have to say

 

In there eyes

I could see the young
lovers

that fell in love

it must of seem to them

not so long ago

but time can go

so fast

 

They live there lives

so full of love

and family

ups and downs

of life

they smash the rocks

that got in there way

and made it all the way

 

my grandparents stay
that way

and when my grandmother
died

I cry and cry

till there was no more
tears

my granddad said

“its alright

I soon by her side

but not just yet

I still got some living
to do

and to look after you”

 

well time won't stop
for anyone

no matter what you have

and one day

when the birds where
flying by

my granddad look at me

with tears in his eyes

and said

“there the girl I
married”

I said

“no one in the room”

he said

“don't worry love

I'll be seeing you soon”

then he look at me and
said

“its time for me to
rest

I have been bless

try not to mourn to
much

I had the greatest love

I could ever need

don't cry to much for
me

because in that
heavenly glow

I'll be dancing with the
one I love

it time  to sleep and
wake up in love”

 

when I look at the
pictures

I see

a real true love

that had ever been

and I can only hope to
find

one day

that one great love
that is mine

and that will last

for all time
