It's Late August (summer heat)

Autumn leaves
want to start blowing
off the trees
but it's not time yet
it's late August and
the sun at it best
oh the wind is blowing
through my hair
and I am stood there
in my garden looking
around
wondering who in town
on a day like today
as I stand there on the
grass
I can feel a blast of
that late august sun
warming my back saying
I am not done
I'm the last of the
summer
the summer heat
I don't want to be put
to sleep right now you see
and then I see a
balloon is the air flying everywhere
and I wonder who let go
of it
sunflower blowing in
the breeze
they petals gently
falling from them
oh where are the bees I
bet there at home
making honey for me tea
that funny
you see
I don't even like
honey anyway
I can see clouds
sailing by
against the blue sky
brightness white clouds
that I ever seen
they look like a ship
on the sea
sailing by in the late
summer sky
oh how I wise I could
fly
Autumn leaves

off the trees
but its not time yet
its late August and the
sun at it best
I can see clouds
sailing by
against the blue sky
brightness white clouds
I ever seen

on the sea
sailing by in the late
summer sky
oh how I wise I could
fly
oh I can feel the sun
on my back
and is please me
the sun is fighting
back
