I saw the light

I saw the light, dark in her eyes.
Honesty shone black.
Truth burnt blind.
I could look deep.
I saw too the light behind it all.
That was shining. So bright.
Away the dark.
Come forth the light.
Expel that dark!
She screamed then.
The darkness took me.
I screamed too.
Wake up again.
See the light again.
Looking in the mirror.
It shines in my eyes.
But see not I the light.
In there shines the dark.
And I will be here.
She will be here.
Both we sleep.
Both we stay.
Scream we shall.
