the end of the beginning

I sow a bird once,
Red as fire and free as air.
Flting through the sky’s so blue
Under the clouds so light
Above the lands so dark.
That bird was a soul inside the soul.
It was the only life that was ever made.
It arose from its ashes
Of the burned soil and lived
For the last time.
For one day it arose no more,
And it flew no more
And it burned no more.
On that day heaven stood still.
For five whole minutes the earth
Would be still.
For the creation was no more.
So all over the lands
And all over the skies
The bird of life will never rise again.
For men killed the soul within.
So the sky had turned black
The grounds cracked open
Blood as hot as fire
Spread all over the lands.
As death was free and walked the earth.
With him all the shadows from beneath.
Death's servants came and took back what had been stolen.
They took her freedom.
Made mother eternal prisoner of her creation.
The beginning had ended.
