Dreams

As I lay down each night to rest,
To shut out a day of total stress,
Deeper I fall into a peaceful sleep,
Resting each nerve from my head to my feet.

In my head I plan no themes, but
Every night I roam in dreams.
I?ve traveled near and wandered far,
From the deepest ocean to the farthest star.

Dreams of love to dreams of fright
Dreams of riches to dreams of blight.
As I awake and illusions end,
I know tomorrow I?ll dream again.
