Before I met you,
I was empty,
I was lonely,
I needed someone.
Then I met you,
I was happy for a while,
I felt content;
For a while.
Then came the paranoia,
The doubts,
When I had you,
I didn't get attached;
I did this to save myself from a broken heart.
It didn't work,
Now I've lost you,
I need you,
My heart is breaking,
Are you worth it?
I know not now.
