I'm full of emptiness,
I've nothing left to hide,
My life is on view to all,
All feeling in me has died.
I have no-one to care for me,
No-one who understands me,
I'm not sure I can go on,
I can't live in this shadow of me.
It's impossible to make new friends,
Trying to avoid losing them,
Not knowing who to trust,
Not wanting to be hurt again.
Feeling lonely in a crowded room,
With no-one to share my view,
Hoping someone will come along soon,
Someone else who's lonely too.
