Paint

Upon all the people who hide their true selves,
With my red paint, a fine coat will be placed.
Now they may be whatever they please,
For their identity is truly erased.

Each time they act just like all the others,
I'll give them a purple dot.
They will do anything just to fit it,
Whether they agree with it or not.

Many have this polka-dotted disease,
Although they may not know.
For it takes confidence and originality
To let one's true self show.

If you find yourself a disbeliever,
Just look around and see.
You are surrounded by people in purple and red,
even you may be.
