Tears

Tears.

Too many tears are shed
In this world today
children are abandoned
as if they are in the way.

Old people are just ignored
they feel they have lost their worth
just wishing they could fade away
from this planet that's called earth.

Many a homeless man
stands begging on the street,
forced through hunger and cold
to ask each one he meets.

Wars rage in different lands,
killing all in sight
they never see the sunshine
or warmth of human respite.

Lets think of them today
and do what ever we can
after all, arn't we of the same blood
like ALL our fellow man?
